Southampton County says NO to the Navy's proposed Outlying Landing Field

Welcome to the No2OLF Web site, dedicated to documenting the Navy's second attempt to establish an Outlying Landing Field in rural America. The purpose of this site is to record the approximately two year Environmental Impact Statement preparation process and the events and news related to it. No2OLF also contains history, facts, opinions, and information that should be of interest to any one living, working, or owning land in or around any of the proposed sites. People living between Naval Air Station Oceana, VA or the Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, NC and any of these five sites should also become familiar with the information available here. There are many other internet sites with information about this event as well as the Navy's previous attempt to establish an Outlying Landing Field in North Carolina. Many of these site’s addresses can be found here. There are also links to local newspapers, television stations, special interest groups, government, and military web sites, that contain information for and against the proposed OLF.
